Anonymous asked: Dear Alejandro, I desperatly seek your help! My high school's anual semi-formal is next week and I kinda forgot to buy a dress. My mom wants to take me out to get one but I have no idea what to look for! I'm not nessessarily a big fan of dresses (I loath them!) and I honestly would rather be sticking pins in my eyes than trying on dresses. Can you give me any ideas to help speed up this painfull process? Maybe some tips about accessories too? I am useless with style :P Love L.

Honestly darling, the only way to FIND a fashionable dress that you’ll love and look good in is to stick it though and try to enjoy the “painful process” as you put it (although I have no idea HOW shopping can be painful).

As for accessories, those honestly depend on your dress. I’d advice no necklaces, but maybe some bracelets? A nice pair of earrings? A stylin’ headband? It’s all up to what you like to wear and what you’d feel best in.

Sorry this took so long. The holidays were a busy time for me.

Lots of luck <3

Anonymous asked: What's your favourite type/item of clothing apart from an ascot?

Oooo…oh you devil. Going for the more outrageous questions are we? I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! So…besides the ascot, I would have to say the “mini ascot” that you can put on your dogs. ADORABLE!! And in so many colors!

Anonymous asked: Alejandro I need your advice. I went dress shopping today for a wedding I have to go to, but nothing I tried on fit me. I'm not exactly the prettiest or thinnest girl either. I'm so discouraged, do you have any suggestions?

Well, for one, don’t get discouraged. You are who you are, and sometimes, things like this will come up. The best thing to do is keep your head high and try not to let it bother you.

Second, do not, I repeat, DO NOT!!!!!!!! say you aren’t pretty. Beauty is found in everyone. Some it comes easily, but with others, you sometimes have to do a bit of work. I mean, have you SEEN Lieutenant Taz? See what I had to work with?

As for advice in finding a dress that will fit, I’m not so sure what to say. I would come over, measure you, and style you an outfit any day of the week, but considering my schedule is booked at the moment, I’m not so sure how that’s going to work out. All I can say is, keep looking, and if you try another store that doesn’t work, don’t get discouraged. There’s a dress out there just waiting for you. You just have to find it.

All my luck xxx

Anonymous asked: Dear Alejandro, I need you help. I'm going to a "graduation" for my school in two weeks, and I recieved the most horrible dress from my mother. It's two sizes too small and way too short. I'm 5'3'' and around 128 pounds with an average bust. I have long blonde hair that reaches my hips with no bangs. My eyes are hazel with brown rectangular glasses. Can you help, please?

Well, for one dear, if the dress doesn’t fit AND looks ghastly, then it’s got to go. No ifs ands or buts!

So now that we’ve gotten rid of that piece of…work, it’s time to go looking for a new dress. I always say that with blonde hair, a sky or baby blue dress would look best. Especially with your eyes and glasses! Now, as for length, I’d say it should go down so it hits about an 1/2 an inch to 1 inch above your knees. Throw on a pair of silver heels (or flats work as well :D), and you’re good to go darling!

Anonymous asked: Hi, Alejandro. I really need your help. I bought a lovely lace dress and I'm planning on wearing it for a party at night. The problems is that I'm extremely tall (177 cm) and I don't look very good (and don't feel comfortable) in heels. Do you think wearing a ballerina would make my look ridiculous?

Darling, one of the problems with fashion in society today is that people think they are expected to wear a certain thing because that’s what everyone else wears and thinks is “in”. That’s total bulldroppings!!! Half of pulling off an outfit is feeling confident in what you’re wearing. You won’t sell it unless you love your outfit and love how it shows off your gorgeous body. So go ahead, wear your ballerina flats, and strut your stuff like there’s no tomorrow!! You’ll look stunning!!

Anonymous asked: Where is the best place to find an ascot?

Why, Ascots ‘R Us of course. Just look it up on Google Universe, and a few nearby locations should come up!

Anonymous asked: Alejandro I need your help. I have a mufti day coming up at school. In case you don't know, a mufti day means that I don't have to wear my uniform for that one day. Which means that everyone judges you by what you wear that day. I am wanting to wear one of my Team Starkid shirts, but there is only 1 other Starkid at my school. I am already thought of as a bit weird and I'm fine with that, but I don't want to be thought of as crazy for wearing a Farm Planet or Puppy Kitties T-shirt. Any advice?

Darling, what you wear is suppose to express who you are as a person. Now, you can either embrace it, or hide it. Whatever you decide should be your decision ONLY! Don’t let others influence your decisions.

Plus, if you do act yourself, then others will learn to respect you. I won’t say that this will happen over night. It’s going to take time, and if others don’t except it, then they aren’t worth your time or concern.

Whatever you decide, dear, just make sure you sport it with pride! You’ll look fabulous!

Darling, I saw the song, and I must say that I LOVE IT!!! My deadgod, it’s as if you were in the room when it happened!

Anonymous asked: Heya Alejandro. I'm going back to school soon, and the uniform is horrible! I hate it. I have to wear a black blazer and grey trousers and a grey jumper. How can I make it less horrible?

Think outside the box. Get out the rule book, make a list of everything you CAN’T do to add/modify the uniform. That leaves everything else open! And if you get in trouble, your excuse is “it wasn’t in the rule book!”
